Does Ginkgo Biloba work?

Yes it does. Ginko preparations contain 5 anti oxidants which are anti aging are not to be found elsewhere: Ginkoloids Thanks to those oxidant the Ginko Biloba trees are able to ago for over 2000 years.

Ginko preparations are made of these ginkoloids for 6%. And the leaves contain about 0,1 %. These anti-oxydants do work. How exactly the work we don't know. But the are very effective.

Research done with just one ginkoloid are all dissapointing. Also cocktails of about 3 of the seem to disappoint. Apparantly they are only effective all 5 together. Ginko also contains Vitamin C, sugars, fenols, terpens and a lot of flavonoids.

Researcher have made hart attacks happen with animal subjects. When administed Ginko in advance the infarct caused less damage and the subjects recovered more quickly.

Through this effect Ginko could possibsly slow down the aging of braintissue. A lot of research is being done on Ginko and Alzheimer.
